Why Wall for Group Homes?Â
Wall offers two models for Group Homes, offering a choice for what will best fit your needs.
All Group Homes
Individual rooms for privacy, person-centered practices, and respect for your unique goals, gifts, and needs are part of every Wall Group Home.
Contracted Family Provider Group Homes
Some family providers have large homes, extensive professional and managerial experience, and several back-up workers. These Providers have grown their service from Sponsored Residential to Group Home status, allowing them to support up to four people in their home. The professional family and individuals with disabilities are integrated into a large family unit with participation in the usual family and community activities.
Agency-Operated Group Homes
This model uses traditional shift-based staffing for people who do not choose to live in a family environment. It suits individuals who prefer or need varied involvement of support by staff who come into the home on a scheduled basis. We carefully select people who are compatible to live together and may be able to offer peer emotional support. These adult group homes are well suited for those who require more intensive support, particularly at night.Â
