About the Provider
William has early experience in the developmental disabilities field, working at a group home when he was around 18 years old. In addition to working in group home settings, his experience includes working with individuals with complex mental health needs at Central State Hospital, Poplar Springs Hospital, and Tucker Pavilion. William has been a sponsored residential provider with Wall Residences since 2016 and holds a B.A. in Health and Physical Education from Virginia State University.
William is a compassionate and committed provider, with a calm and patient demeanor. He enjoys cooking on the grill, fishing, going for walks, the gym, visiting the library, and traveling. Three individuals currently reside together in this home. Two have lived here for approximately 8 years, while the third has resided in the home for approximately 4 years. The individuals have accompanied Willliam on many day trips to various places including Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Washington DC, Buckroe Beach, and Kings Dominion.
