About the Provider
Sharon gained experience working as a DSP for a Community Engagement/Community Coaching program, as well as serving as a Back-Up worker for other licensed Sponsored Residential homes. She has been a licensed Provider with Wall Residences since 2021, previously supporting one individual.
Sharon enjoys spending time with family and friends, including her adult daughter who resides in the area. She is active in her church and the community. Sharon travels to Lynchburg to shop, dine out, and enjoy other activities, several times a week. Sharon expressed that she enjoys going into town and will ensure the individuals in her service have every opportunity to go into the community as often as they desire, while also having the option to stay home and enjoy the relaxing, rural setting. Sharon and her husband enjoy tending to their goats, chickens, and gardens.
About the Home
Sharon’s home offers a peaceful, rural setting. The drive to the home offers beautiful views of the mountains and countryside. The terrace level offers a den with a fireplace, a laundry room, a bathroom, and another sitting room. Up a few stairs is another den with a fireplace. An additional flight of stairs takes you to the main level, where there is a kitchen, living room, and dining room. There are three bedrooms and two full baths on the upper level of the home. The home also has a wraparound deck. A spacious yard offers a pool, gardens, goats, and chickens. Sharon shares her home with her husband Joseph, and their small, affectionate dog.
