About the Provider
Sharon Jennings comes to Wall Residences with an extensive background, knowledge, and training in working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She was employed as a special education teacher within the public schools for 17 years until recently when she became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Prior to becoming an LPN and schoolteacher, Ms. Jennings served in the military. She is the mother of two adult men that live in Blacksburg and attend Virginia Tech University, with whom she is very close.
She leads an active lifestyle, attending many sporting events and would like to support someone that wants to be active in the community. She reported she would like to take the individuals along with her on her travels to expand their knowledge of the world. Sharon also likes to shop, dine out, and attend local festivals.
About the Home
The home is nestled in a quiet upscale cul-de-sac and has two stories with a full walk-out basement on a gently sloping lot. Upon entry, there is a formal living room, formal dining, and stairs leading to the second level. There is a short hall with a half bath leading to the rear of the home which has a family room with a gas fireplace, a large kitchen with an island, a sunroom leading to a patio, a laundry room, and entry to the garage. On the second level are three large bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a primary suite with another full bathroom. In the walkout basement there is another family room with French doors leading to a patio. There is a second kitchen, a large bathroom, and two other rooms.
