About the Provider

Rhonda and Bruce worked at the Central VA Training Center for 20 years. They have been Providers with Wall Residences since November 1997. The Norconks are well-known, active members of their community. They will do anything to help friends, family, and people in the community. They are strong advocates and are quick to link others with resources when needed, or to jump in and offer assistance themselves.

Rhonda and Bruce enjoy spending time with their adult children and their three grandchildren. They have coached youth sports, participated in adult leagues, and are active members of their church. They host several extended family gatherings throughout the year. The individuals residing in the home participate in a variety of community activities and social gatherings, including dining out with other individuals within the agency, going to concerts, attending blue grass music festivals, taking trips to the Norconk family beach house, fishing on the pier, and going to the movies.

About the Home

The Norconk home is grand and welcoming. The two-story home has large rooms with high ceilings. The main level offers one bedroom and three bathrooms. The laundry is on the main level, as is a large den, where the family gathers and enjoys television and music. There is an additional living room, dining room, and large eat-in kitchen on the main level. Upstairs are four additional bedrooms and three bathrooms. The available bedroom is on the main level with an ensuite bathroom. The home sits on acreage, with mature trees and a nice view. Rhonda and Bruce share their home with three individuals, two ladies and one gentleman, and two friendly dogs.

The Norconks cannot imagine being in another field. They are interested in creating an environment rich with activities that are preferred by each individual and come natural to them. They like to support people in setting goals and having the freedom of choice throughout their day, across various environments. Rhonda and Bruce take great pride in the service that they provide for the individuals currently residing in their home.
