About the Provider
Crystal has over a decade of experience in emergency medical services as both a firefighter/paramedic and a hospital medic. She served on the Swift Water Rescue Team and is a nationally certified paramedic with extensive hands‑on experience in an ambulance and in a hospital setting. Her background includes administering medications, performing CPR/AED, managing IVs, and responding to critical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, seizures, diabetic shock, and traumatic injuries.
Chris has worked in law enforcement for more than twenty years and currently supervises the Criminal Investigations Division. He is trained in basic first aid, CPR, AED, and tactical medicine. Chris has long‑standing partnerships with agencies including Social Services, Child and Adult Protective Services, RACSA, and Empower House. He has also volunteered frequently in public schools and coached their children’s youth sports.
The Camerons have prior experience supporting a juvenile for many years within their home and have experience supporting individuals with various diagnosis. They are an active family who enjoy outdoor activities and attend sporting events. They are both patient and caring and both tend to react calmly under stress and pressure.
They currently support one adult male who works part‑time, attends college, and enjoys mentoring others, watching movies, volunteering, and collecting Funko Pops and Pokémon cards. Crystal and Chris have one teenage son at home who participates in hockey, wrestling, ice skating, video games, and spends time with friends in the community. They also have two adult daughters, one in college and one serving in the U.S. Navy, who visit during breaks. Their home includes a gentle, friendly white Labrador Retriever named Riley who loves meeting new people and animals. The Camerons enjoy attending minor‑league baseball games as half‑season ticket holders as well as hiking, camping, kayaking, visiting museums, and exploring local shops and restaurants. They also value quiet evenings at home with movies and family dinners.
