About the Provider

The Boonsboro home features 24-hour awake support by Direct Support Professionals (DSP). All Boonsboro staff are trained and certified, with backgrounds in various human services or medical positions. They are driven by a genuine passion for helping others grow, thrive, and experience greater independence. The house manager and assistant house manager lead with encouragement, collaboration, and a strong commitment to creating a warm, stable environment where staff feel supported and the individuals we serve feel safe, respected, and understood.

Staff and residents maintain an active lifestyle with frequent trips to local parks, bodies of water, movie theaters, hair salons, and other areas of interest. Home activities include karaoke, piano, records and radio, holiday decorations, birthday celebrations, arts and crafts, birdwatching and nature appreciation on the patio.  Boonsboro staff enjoy home-cooking but can also support people with g-tube and other complex medical needs. The staff currently provide supports for four adult residents, two male and two female. They look forward to adding one more individual to the home.
