About the Provider

Alice Parker and Jessica Hazlett are a mother-daughter duo with years of experience in the field. For over a decade, Jessica and Alice have supported individuals in their home. Alice has twenty-five years of experience between being a provider and working at a local group home as a Direct Support Professional. Jessica has over a decade of experience as a Direct Support Professional and has been a family caregiver for many years. Her experience includes being a backup worker for her mother and co-provider, Alice. The co-providers enjoy bingo, shopping, volunteering, and dining out as well as outdoor activities such as cornhole and swimming. In addition to Alice and Jessica, the home is shared with four cats. They want to provide an individual with support and care by welcoming them into their home.

About the Home

The elegant, two-story custom-built home has five bedrooms and three and a half baths. The bathroom open to an individual has grab bars. The home is situated on over seven beautifully landscaped acres. The house features an in-ground pool with a poolside screened cabana and a garden. The home is in the quaint village of Hardyville, just thirty minutes away from Gloucester Courthouse.

Alice and Jessica shared, “Our combined experience in the DD/ID and medical field has shaped our values and commitment to treating each person who chooses to share our home with us with respect and kindness. We believe in the person-centered philosophy of getting to know each individual, their disabilities, likes, and dislikes. We strive to be inclusive in all aspects of decision making and empower everyone with the information necessary to make good choices daily and for their future. Our mission is to support the client in all aspects of their life to include physical, mental, and social needs so they may enjoy a fulfilling and well-rounded life.”
